About Vifewise

Vifewise is a personal nutrition and activity companion. You log meals, drinks, and activity — by photo, voice, text, or barcode — and Vifewise helps you understand your daily pattern. Suggestions are always just suggestions: you decide what to log and what to do with it.

1. Who we are

Vifewise ("we", "the app") is a personal nutrition and activity tracker. These terms apply to your use of the Vifewise app and its related services.

2. Your account

You create an account by signing in through an external identity provider (Google, Facebook, or Microsoft — see the app for the current list). Vifewise itself never stores a password. You're responsible for keeping the account you sign in with secure.

3. Using the app

• You use Vifewise for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of what you log.
• Products you add to the shared product database become visible/usable to other users (only the product data itself — never your personal logs).
• Misuse (for example, deliberately adding incorrect product data, or attempting to bypass security) isn't allowed.

4. AI features

Some features (photo analysis, voice recognition, nutrition-value suggestions) use an external AI model. Every AI suggestion is a proposal that you review and confirm yourself before it's saved — nothing is logged automatically or unseen.

5. No warranty, no liability

Vifewise is provided "as is". Nutrition estimates, activity data, and suggestions can be wrong. We accept no liability for decisions you base on information from the app — see also the disclaimer below.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll let you know in the app about any significant change.

Privacy Policy

1. What data we process

• Account data: your email address and name, obtained from whichever sign-in provider you choose (Google, Facebook, or Microsoft).
• Health and nutrition data: what you log (meals, drinks, activities), and profile details you enter yourself (height, weight, sex, activity level) to calculate your personal targets.
• Photos: a photo is only sent for analysis the moment you tap "Analyze". The photo itself isn't kept afterward unless you explicitly choose to keep it.

2. What we use it for

Solely to make the app work: calculating your daily overview, generating suggestions, and syncing your data across your devices. We never sell your data to third parties.

3. External processors

Photo and voice analysis is performed by an external AI model (OpenAI or a comparable provider). Content you explicitly submit for analysis (a photo, a voice recording) is sent to that provider for that purpose. Signing in happens through the provider you choose (Google, Facebook, Microsoft) — they process your sign-in details under their own privacy policy.

4. Your rights

From Settings in the app, you can export or permanently delete all of your data at any time (right of access and right to erasure under GDPR). Deleting is final — there's no "undo".

How to delete your account and data

1. Sign in to the app at go.vifewise.app.
2. Go to Settings (the gear icon).
3. Under Data, tap "Delete my account and data".
4. Confirm by tapping "Yes, delete everything".

This permanently deletes your account and everything tied to it — logs, activities, goals, and preferences — and signs you out immediately, on every device. There is no way to recover it afterward; signing in again later starts a brand-new, empty account.

5. Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account also immediately ends every session on every device.
